For me, finding Fuga was something of a revelation as it just seemed to fit my style so perfectly that it was impossible to imagine an improvement.  5 years later a solid 50 percent of my wardrobe is made up of Fuga and they have come a long way since I first stumbled upon their Harajuku flagship.

The style is best described in Japanese as Onii-Kei, which tends to describe a slightly more aggressive and adult Japanese men’s style.  To me the defining features of Fuga are the very tight fit which gives you a great silhouette as well as the superior quality of materials used.  Expect to see exotic leather accents, sterling silver detailing and Japanese denim (trust me – a rarity)

On the subject of sizing it should be noted that Fuga can be very small on some westerners.  The clothes only come in two sizes – small and medium and the small seems to be comparable to a UK size 6….  So if you are any larger you are stuck with their accessories I am afraid.

For me the must have item of their Spring season has to be these amazing jeans

You see the rips just above the knees?  Well they have been repaired with real python snake skin.  Very nice indeed.  But not one for vegetarians I guess.

If you want to check out the brand in the Flesh then they have shops in every 109-2 chain of department stores and their flagship can be found in Harajuku over towards Omotesando
