I really like the all-in-one trend that’s popped up this season: so much so that I picked up a great floral playsuit for myself! It’s honestly the most comfortable thing I’ve ever worn and is all-round wonderful… except when nature calls and you have to strip down to your undercrackers – don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Here’s a few of my favourites:

I saw a ton of lower budget rip-offs of the Cecil McBee style all-in-one around & about. Gilfy have had a go too, but I think my favourite is the denim playsuit from Bless Tokyo – I love the floral detailing and the great tailoring.

My advice for wearing an all-in-one would be to always wear them with the highest heels you can manage; go for flat shoes and you risk looking stumpy & frumpy – think catwalk, not granny pyjamas! I’d also use a belt to break up the blockiness; use it to your advantage – if you’ve got short legs, try a higher-waisted belt to make your legs look longer.

The all-in-one style is quite unusual in that it’s been taken on by both genders. Let’s take a look at some for men:

As you can see, it’s a much more masculine cut and almost exclusively in denim. Of The Neige Style are really promoting this look, and it’s proved to be quite popular with the Tokyo bad boy crowd! They’ve also produced my favourite all-in-one:

I love the detailing! Add a studded belt, chunky boots and sunglasses and you’re ready to hit the streets of Tokyo!

Maybe Samuel & I should both get one and go for a matching look?!
