I couldn’t help but fall for these great images from Dazzlin’s latest catalogue:
The whole collection has a fabulously relaxed vintage feel to it; mixing blouses and sheer fabric with fur, swing coats and some great hats! The setting of the shots adds to the feel of this season’s ‘Classic American Casual’ look, and I for one would be happy tapping away on this site while looking chic in Dazzlin!
Although Dazzlin’ have gone for an overall neutral colour palette, with shades of oatmeal & cream that would no doubt appeal to forest-loving mori girls too, they’ve also produced some more high fashion items, such as leopard print shirts & shorts, emerald suede gloves, and sharply tailored black blazers. Tying this collection together are military influences, touches of lace and a huge helping of knitwear! My favourite accessories are the initialled bags – but only if you’re lucky enough to have a name beginning with A, E, K, R, M, N, Y, S or T! Sometimes the Japanese language and foreign names just don’t match…
Dazzlin as a brand is under the same umbrella as Emoda, Murua and Laguna Moon; the former two being ‘mode‘ style, and the latter being fairly similar in target market and style to Dazzlin. It’s sometimes hard for brands that are heavily lined to each other to create a unique style, and I feel that this is something for Dazzlin and Laguna Moon to work on the in the future. On the other hand, both brands have an almost interchangeable style that allows for greater mixing between the two, and in terms of overall look have created a warm vintage bohemian that will appeal to many.
