The weather this morning was all dark and grey, so I got dressed up in a long-sleeved dress and boots… and then the sun came out and both Samuel & I roasted in our wintery finery. All right, so you can’t count on the weather, but a good pair of boots will take you a long way!
Here’s a selection of next season’s boots from 109 in Shibuya:
As you see, a few of 109′s shoe shops have put out tan sheepskin boots – personally, I’d be going for Flag J’s take on the trend. There’s a couple of pairs of pretty nice tall boots too; Esperanza’s black knee-highs have a great shape, and I really like their almost Victorian-looking boots at the top – just imagine them with a classic outfit from Alice & the Pirates!
My ultimate favourites have to the R&E boots – I’m on a never-ending hunt for the perfect pair of black boots, and any kind of high sculptural wedge is automatically a winner in my book. I’d pair these beauties with an equally dark & mysterious coordinate from DressedUndressed for maximum high fashion impact!
I’ll be keeping eye on what’s popping up in the shops and on the streets in Japan, I’m looking forward to seeing what the must-have items for this winter will be! Any ideas yet?

I’d suggest searching for Esperanza on Rakuten (http://en.rakuten.co.jp/) as you’ll hopefully be able to find the boots you’re looking for – they also ship internationally!
