Runurunu sounds to me like an ideophone; a word that represents a sound, or in the case of the Japanese language an image or feeling too (looks like my dissertation topic came in handy after all!). If it doesn’t already exist (I couldn’t find it in my dictionary, I must ask Samuel…) I’d like to propose that it means ‘the feeling of falling in love with an item of clothing‘.

RUNURUNURUNURUNU… I’ve fallen head over heels for Runurunu, so much so that I don’t even need to show the front of the clothes, just the photos from behind will suffice for now! I’m just dribbling of the amazing black jumper in the centre: distressed & reconstructed perfection.  I think simplicity is key to coordinating these items – pop on a pair of leggings & some huge sunglasses… ready for anything!

I couldn’t find much online in either Japanese or English about Runurunu, but keep your eyes open; Runurunu are well worth watching.
