Ah, another month flies by at warp speed! It’s been all go here at Telephone Towers, but I have just about managed to find time to fit in a tattoo or two (or four!), and now I’ve experienced tattooing by hand I’m eager to try a few more methods too… Anyway, let’s crack on with a taster of what we’ve been up to this September:
Get Primitive: We popped along to Balmung’s amazing fashion exhibition at the similarly amazing Primitive London. Check out all the photos here – we had a fantastic time, and I’m sure you’ll fall in love just like we did!
Go-go Graphics: Following our super-duper trip to London, we’ve also updated our rolling headers – make sure you see all five! Oh, and how fancy are our new business cards? (Psst: join us on instagram; we’re tokyotelephone)
Bloody Silver: Even though Halloween is still a month away, Samuel took a look at the slightly spookily named Bloody Mary, known for their beautifully crafted silver jewellery – see the 2011 collection, Konron sister line, and wedding/bridal jewellery here.
Learning Japanese?: Samuel I put our heads together to come up with a few useful and fun tips for those interested in learning the Japanese language – read the full article here. We hope there’s something for everyone, and be sure to let us know how you get on…
Lovely Leather: Talking of leather jackets… we absolutely love ’em! So much so that we dedicated a whole post to photos of our favourites, plus some awesome boots for good measure – welcome to our personal style!
Cooler Than Cool: We recently caught up with the super talented and all-round fab artist Yuki Snow – we’re proud to have called her on the Tokyo Telephone. See her wonderful work here.
And Finally: Want to know what Tokyo’s most fashionable girls will be wearing this winter? Get the low-down from our Tokyo Girls Collection winter 2011 show report here.
Links and Sites: We’re always on the look out for interesting and fabulous blogs & sites to add to our phone book – leave us a comment or drop us a line at hello @ tokyotelephone.com if you’d like to be added to our ever-growing list. Content from Tokyo Telephone is also available on flickr, tumblr and twitter too – if you like what we do, then feel free to spread the word with our super shiny social media links at the side of each article. We’re also featured on ChangeFashion and Glam UK‘s fashion channel – a great way to see what’s going on on the rest of the network.
