So… you wanna be a Roc Star?
As a child of the mid-eighties, I can’t help but find the current retrospective fashion trends terrifying and yet hilarious. The clothes I wore as a wee nipper are now considered ‘retro’ and ‘vintage’ – ski pants, Dr Martens boots & camouflage print cycling shorts – needless to say I still have nightmares about those shorts.
Twenty-odd years roll by, and suddenly those MC Hammer pants and Kangol flat caps have come back around! For better, or for worse, I ask? Definitely for better, if you take a look at Roc Star!

While the full-on early 90′s look may not be for everyone, I’d suggest incorporating elements; socks showing above boots, largely exaggerated tops, check shirts and graphic print sweatshirts. Why not add in some real vintage items for an authentic look?

Very difficult to get Roc Star outside of Japan these days I am afraid. You are best watching Yahoo Auctions, Mbok and Rakuten and wait to see if one turns up. When it does see if you can get them to ship it to you, otherwise a shopping service can handle that for you.
