If, like me, you’re a bit of a magpie when it comes to vintage clothes, then I heartily suggest you get a good SPANK-ing!

There’s been a real boom in vintage clothing shops in Japan, and Spank! is great if you like your fashion just as it was in the 80s. Shop assistants and fans often have pastel-coloured hair, and favour sugary-sweet retro cuteness.

In addition to second-hand pieces, Spank! also sell their own original designs, with t-shirts coming in at around 5000yen (£35/$55). My suggestion would be to grab an oversize vintage t-shirt and Spank! original necklace (4000yen/£27/$43), and pair with pastel jeans for a fresh and girly spring look.
