For lovers of all things flowery and fancy, here’s Vintage & Petals! Mori girls, classic lolitas and dolly-kei fans, I’m looking at you…

I first came across this brand while flipping through Kimono姫 magazine (one of my new favourites – it’s a perfect mix of inspiration & tradition with some wicked coordinates!), and I instantly fell for the understated natural feel of the accessories. Organic is a keyword that has risen in popularity in Japan, and there’s something deliciously home-grown about the items featured. I love the simplicity of the bunch of silk violets hanging from a fine chain, the gothic cross nestled among black petals (utterly perfect with a deconstructed h.Naoto layered look! Naoto fans, keep an eye out for a very special upcoming post…) and the twig-like earring decorated with a tiny pearl and flower; the highlight of any outfit, and I’m thinking of Pink House of course!

Isn’t this headband just amazing? Feathers, flowers and netting in such gorgeous autumnal colours would accent a vintage dress wonderfully, and just think of how it would compliment seasonally fashionable dark red and purple hair colours! It almost matches my own blonde & purple hair, hmm…

Below is a great example of what makes Vintage & Petals so special; as well as looking lovely when worn, the sweet little flower, pearl and crystal earring below look equally pretty as home decorations! Jewellery as art; we love it.

Luckily for fans of Vintage & Petals, they don’t limit themselves just to jewellery! There’s also home accessories such as tea cups and linen, a few items of clothing and bags and with Christmas around the corner the pine cone place cards  above would be an appropriate addition to any mori girl’s dinner table.
